Seattle Seahawks fans get their first taste of Super Bowl LII at CenturyLink Field on Feb. 28, 2020.
It’s a huge occasion, and it means they can celebrate the season, a team that is in the midst of one of the most productive eras in the team’s history.
“You’re just really excited,” said Mike Johnson, 49, who moved from the Midwest to Seattle last year to join his wife, Erin.
“It’s always fun when it’s your first time to watch a game, and we’ve got some pretty awesome players and they’re all going to be going at it for us.”
Johnson said the biggest thing that made the trip from the middle of Iowa was the team that welcomed him.
“We’re just so excited to be back here,” he said.
“I feel like we have a lot of memories.
We’re just a little nervous at first, but it’s been really good to see how excited everyone is.”
Johnson, who has been attending the team since the 2000 season, was at the game this weekend, so he saw a few things.
“The stadium was packed,” he laughed.
“There were a few hundred fans here.
The stadium is super huge, and I think the field is huge too.
We just got married last week, so we’ve just been looking forward to that.””
And I got to talk to my wife and we’re really happy about that.
We just got married last week, so we’ve just been looking forward to that.”
It’s been so good.
I think we’re all very excited to see everyone.
“It wasn’t the only time Johnson had a fun time, either.
Johnson said he got to see the team perform in a game on Jan. 1.
The Seattle Seahawks’ victory over the New Orleans Saints made him excited to watch.”
I didn’t have any tickets to the game, but I got my picture taken with the guys,” Johnson said.
Johnson said the Seahawks’ players are always the ones that bring the excitement to the games, and he said he likes watching the team interact with fans in person. “
This was the best game I’ve been a part of.”

“That’s what makes it so fun,” he added.
Johnson said he loves playing the game on Sundays and it helps that he grew up in Iowa.
“Growing up, we used to go to games on Sundays,” he recalled.
“So I kind of get a little emotional when I’m at home.”
Johnson’s wife, Megan, has grown up in Omaha and said the trip to Seattle was the first time she had been to a game in person since she was a teenager.
“Being a Seahawks fan is just one of those things you’ve never seen, and then you get to be around the team, and you see the fans, and they just are such a huge part of this organization,” she said.
Johnson and Megan had planned to attend the Seahawks-Patriots game on Sunday, but Erin said the team told them it was not going to happen.
She said she got to go with Johnson on the trip.
“My whole plan was to go get my picture with him,” she joked.
“He’s a great guy, and that was the last thing on my mind.
I really appreciate that.”
Johnson was one lucky person to get a picture with the Seahawks players.
He said that’s what made it all worth it.
“To get a chance to have a chance with them and see what they are all about is really special, and to be able to show him a picture of you is just a great feeling,” he told The Sports Bible.
“We’re all so lucky to be here,” Megan added.
“Hopefully, the Seahawks have a great year.
We’ve been here before, so this is just going to make it even better.”
